When we leave college, it is unusual for many of us to have down exactly what we want to do with our lives. While we may major in something that we are passionate about, it is difficult to land our first job out of college in that field. This was true for Harvey Logan. Harvey didn’t know what he wanted to do in life, but he knew that he had a knack for talking to people.
“I’m from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I came up from humble beginnings. My father was a janitor and my mother was a Teacher in my hometown. I attended Stillman College an HBCU in Alabama where I graduated with a Degree in Business Management. When I graduated college, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do but I had a knack for dealing with people which eventually led me into sales!! I always knew I wanted to do something that would give me the opportunity to help people but also give me the opportunity to live a good life. I always felt I had a hunger for success. I just didn’t know within what field until I fell in love with sales and the thought of entrepreneurship,” Harvey explains.
However, this moment in life led Harvey to his now full time career as a credit repair expert. He is the Credit Houdini! He loves helping people and changing their lives by helping them get good credit when they need it to succeed in life.
“I am the Founder/Owner of Harvey The Credit Houdini which aids thousands of people a year through credit restoration. I help guide people with not only credit repair but help them gain the financial knowledge to get to financial freedom. We do our best to get people to be aware of how many people are out there with inaccurate accounts on their credit profiles. Accounts that hinder them from being able to purchase homes, houses, etc. By helping aid them in the removal of those inaccuracies truly feels good when helping people reach their goals,” Harvey explains.
Harvey was inspired to help people when he was working as a car salesman. He noticed that people didn’t really understand credit and how much they needed it particularly when it came to buying cars. He realized that he could find a role for himself making sure that people understood the ins and outs of credit.
“I sold cars for years as a car salesman and noticed over the years the need for better credit with customers that would come to purchase vehicles but would leave with denials due to bad credit. Seeing the mental distress people would leave with truly motivated me to want to help people and help them get to the next financial level of life which starts with one’s credit. Being able to meet that need is something that keeps me motivated and hungry. Knowing that in a short span of time the client’s life can be altered,” Harvey says.
What makes Harvey much more of a reliable credit helper than others is the fact that he strives for a client forward approach and always tries to meet people where they are at. He tries to be there for his clients as much as possible.
“I feel I differentiate from my competition because I give a more family friendly approach. We try to make everyone feel like family regardless of how many people we talk to on a daily basis. We do our best to let people know there is not just a number but a client that we want to see succeed and be successful. We are big on not just providing a good service but also on educating the client on what it means to have better credit or to be in a more financially suitable situation for the future,” Harvey states.
Harvey is planning on ending the year by giving back to his community and charity and spending time with his family. To keep up with all that Harvey is doing, follow him on instagram here and check out his website here.
